ePolicyWorks Health Care – Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor
Concepts is helping the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy establish and lead ePolicyWorks Health Care—a coalition-building initiative to promote the critical role health care plays in increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Launched at the onset of the federal government’s transition to a new Administration, ePolicyWorks Health Care is establishing itself as a key resource to help agencies and organizations shape effective health care agendas and to ensure people with disabilities have a strong voice in the national dialogue on health care reform. The centerpiece of the project is a customized, online Community of Practice (CoP) developed by Concepts that allows federal partners to exchange ideas and develop policy to further increase access to employment-based health care and mental health services and supports for people with disabilities. This CoP offers a framework for engaging stakeholders from a variety of vantage points and provides a collaborative workspace to facilitate partnerships and better manage and coordinate the dissemination of information.
