Katherine DiGiovanni
Katherine DiGiovanni is an outreach and strategic marketing professional with more than 12 years of experience working with government agencies, non-profits and the private sector. Her areas of expertise include marketing strategy, program management and public outreach.
Currently, Katherine serves Concepts on several initiatives focused on improving employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. She helps lead Concepts’ support of the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), a worksite disability accommodation service. Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy, JAN is a complimentary, confidential service for anyone seeking reasonable job accommodations for people with disabilities. Katherine also lends her expertise to America’s Heroes at Work, a DOL initiative that educates employers about the challenges of returning service members living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This innovative program reaches employers and workforce professionals with information to help veterans, specifically those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, succeed in the workplace.
Before joining the Concepts team in June of 2009, Katherine led and managed outreach efforts in Washington, DC at Safe Kids Worldwide, the Phillips Collection and the Council for Excellence in Government. Prior to that, she served as policy coordinator at the Council of State Governments in its western regional office in San Francisco. Katherine holds a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While living in Madison, she also worked as a non-partisan staff member in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
