Matthew Vidulich

Matt Vidulich adds valuable experience in community building, partnership development, fundraising and outreach to Concepts' projects, in particular those with a Veterans focus. Currently, he serves as project manager for the National Resource Directory (NRD), an online resource funded jointly by the U.S. departments of Labor, Defense and Veterans Affairs. In this role, he develops content, cultivates and manages strategic partnerships and oversees website functionality and design. He also coordinates a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the NRD to veterans, service members, their families and the many others who support them.

Matt's interest in assisting and advocating for Veterans stems from his work with the USO (United Service Organizations). As USO's Relationship Manager, Clubs and Organizations, he worked on grassroots fundraising initiatives and the development and promotion of a team-building web project. This experience afforded him unique insight into the current and future challenges faced by today's service members.

Prior to joining the USO, Matt spent more than two years assisting the authors of "We Feel Fine" (www.wefeelfine.org), a first-of-its-kind, web-based art project. His responsibilities included compiling content and strategic promotion. Based on the success of the project, the authors were commissioned to create a print version, which was published in 2009. We Feel Fine has been featured as part of exhibits nationwide, including at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Sundance Film Festival.

Early in his career, Matt spent three years with the National AIDS Marathon Training Program, helping participants to train and coordinating fundraising efforts in support of local AIDS foundations. An avid distance runner himself, he also ran a lot – literally.

Matt holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where he focused on cultural identity, cross-cultural relationships and the post-communist development of Eastern Europe.
