Renee Tajudeen
Renee Tajudeen is a communications professional who brings a wide variety of experience to the Concepts team, having served more than 18 years in public outreach campaigns and consulting capacities for government, educational and non-profit organizations and private corporations. Since 1996, Ms. Tajudeen has served the U.S. Department of Labor’s Working Partners for an Alcohol- and Drug-Free Workplace initiative and has been instrumental in expanding the program’s reach by establishing cooperative alliances and partnerships with federal and state agencies, trade associations and industry organizations. She was critical in establishing a national drug-free work week campaign and several interactive Web-based systems, and creates a range of educational and promotional materials targeted to small businesses. Ms. Tajudeen also facilitates media relations and represents the initiative at conferences and meetings nationwide.
Before assuming her current position, Ms. Tajudeen coordinated several strategic communications campaigns focused on the environment, energy conservation and agricultural workers for a range of clients, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Labor and the University of Florida. Prior to working for Concepts, she was a public relations specialist for the University of Florida, where she oversaw media relations and marketing for its student union. Her experience also includes account management for a health care cost-containment company. Ms. Tajudeen has delivered presentations to various public- and private-sector audiences and has achieved awards for excellence in theme publicity, material development and program service. She earned an M.A. in mass communication with an emphasis in public relations and a B.A. in liberal arts and sciences with a major in political science from the University of Florida. |
